  • @alex_z Great to hear that it's possible to run TF object detection models on NCS. What kind of fps do you get with that or what is the inference time? For example with the ssd_mobilenet_v1_coco model.
  • @Tome_at_Intel Thanks, I ended up using the code by @dagofff , which works great for my purpose.
  • Well done!
  • @dagofff Nice. I tried to find a way to draw rectangles, but nothing worked yet. I tried to follow this example http://pygtk.org/pygtk2tutorial/examples/drawingarea.py and add it to the gtk_output.py file. I also tried using only opencv instead of g…
  • @dagofff Will do. I also spent hours trying to figure out how to get the image right. Good job! P.S. Just tested the code and it works great!
  • @dagofff Awesome! Thanks a lot!
  • @spinoza1791 @Tome_at_Intel I'm still working on getting the output (box coordinates and classes) right, but I can share some code/instructions when that's done. @dagofff Awesome! Hopefully I get the classes working soon, too. To convert Tiny YOL…
  • @dagofff nice! Thanks for sharing!
  • @shixinli What command did you run when that error appeared? mvNCCompile.pyc? Is that all output you get? Usually it says something like which layer failed or so. I got my tiny YOLO running on the NCS, but I'm still trying to get the output process…
  • @jaganadhg At the beginning of the prototxt file you have something like: input_dim: 1 input_dim: 3 input_dim: 227 input_dim: 227 Change that to: input_shape { dim: 1 dim: 3 dim: 227 dim: 227 }
  • @dagofff Thanks! Now the conversion worked. @hide To fix that problem, I changed the top parameter of the last layer to be the same as the name of that layer. E.g. if the name is "fc12" I changed the top parameter to "fc12". I'm not sure if that's …
  • Ok, it looks like the model file and prototxt I downloaded were not compatible at all. I guess I need to find a way to do the conversion from darknet to caffe myself.
  • I tried converting tiny_yolo for NCS by following the links by @Tome_at_Intel . However I get the following error: python3 mvNCCompile.pyc -w ../caffe-yolo/yolo_tiny.caffemodel ../caffe-yolo/yolo_tiny_deploy.prototxt -s 12 -o test.model mvNCCompil…
  • SqueezeNet is an image classification network. It will try to come up with one class for the entire image. In this case it seems to fail doing that. Yolo is an object detection method and will find regions in the image and classify them. If you wan…
  • Did you try to change it in your ~/.bashrc file?
